Christy Urdal
An avid planner, detail fanatic and organizer, Christy recognized early on in her career that the key to any successful relocation was in planning and preparation, something that many people in transition fail to address. Christy started NextStep Transitions after 25 years in the transportation industry working in various capacities for leading Northwest Moving and Storage Companies. During her tenure as General Manager, National Account Executive and Residential Sales Consultant, Christy specialized in addressing the relocation needs of families, individuals and businesses. Over the years she has planned and implemented thousands of residential relocations for clients moving locally, out of state and internationally as well as hundreds of commercial office moves.
Armed with extensive knowledge of the relocation industry and the keen ability to assess the needs of her clients, Christy took the next step and formed NextStep Transitions, LLC. Christy expanded her vision of providing exceptional moving services to include all other elements of relocation: downsizing, organization, move management, estate liquidation and redesign services. Now able to provide solutions to all of her customer’s needs, she instills confidence that their possessions will be taken care of and the relocation will be a success. Relocation can be stressful even under the best of circumstances, but Christy’s greatest reward is seeing the smile on her clients’ face when successfully settled into their new homes or work spaces.
In addition to her numerous transportation and relocation certifications, Christy is an active member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and is a Your Home, Inc. certified Senior Move Manager.
